What is a Gif89a Animation?
You can create Gif89a Animations to decorate your web pages. Gif animations are low-bandwidth, low tech ways to create animations. Currently,
the only browsers that support Gif89a animations are Netscape 2.0 and higher, and Internet Explorer 3.0 and higher). The good news is that even if visitors to your web site aren't using Netscape 2.0 they will see either the first or last frame of the animation (depending on the browser), so there's no need to place an alternate image for other browsers.
