The project
Pub 52 Gastropub & Kitchen sits in the heart of South Miami. It is a place for happy hour, the big game, live music or dinner with friends. The kitchen makes handmade Black Angus burgers, steaks, flatbreads, local seafood and Asian American fusion dishes, plus jumbo wings with 15 house sauces.
We designed and built a dark, warm website that feels like a night out at the pub. Every page leads to what guests come for: the menu, the weekly lineup, a table or a private party.
The menu
The menu page splits into two tabs: Bar and Happy Hour, and Scratch Kitchen. Signature cocktails like the Hibiscus Heatwave and Lavender Haze sit right at the top with their ingredients and prices, followed by wines by the glass and bottle.
It is all real text, so it reads well on a phone and is easy to update when the menu changes.
Mobile-first
Every page was designed for the phone first. Guests can check tonight's lineup, read the cocktail list, book a table or start planning a party in a few taps.
Gallery
Pub 52's tagline sets the tone for the whole site. The gallery page fills the screen with the pub's own photos: plates from the kitchen, cocktails on the bar, packed game nights and bands on stage.
The same photos run through the home page, so first-time visitors see the room before they walk in.
Events and private parties
The events page keeps the weekly lineup in one place, from Country Tuesdays and Music Bingo Wednesdays to Karaoke Thursdays and live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Happy hour runs from 4pm to 7pm.
For bigger groups, the private events page lists the venue capacity, links the private events guide and catering menu, and collects every detail through a simple inquiry form. The pub can host up to 325 for a cocktail reception or 225 for a seated dinner.
Food first
The site is built around Pub 52's own photography, so the food and drinks do the selling.
