The project

A party bar where most of the night is booked before the doors open.

El Hefe has been a party bar in Old Town Scottsdale since 2010, on Saddlebag Trail in the middle of the Entertainment District. After dark it runs on DJs, VIP tables and groups: birthdays, bachelorette weekends and after parties.

We designed and built a website that gets those groups to a booking fast. A video of the room plays behind the home page, and every page leads to VIP bottle service, the event calendar or a private event inquiry.

VIP bottle service

Pick a table, see the room, book the night.

Bottle service is the center of the business, so its page does the most work. Guests book a table online through the Mr. Black form without leaving the site, or call and text the VIP host from the same screen.

The page lays out what comes with a table, from priority entry to mixers and a dedicated host. It includes a floor plan of the booths around the main bar, a 3D walkthrough of the room and answers on payment, cakes and table requests.

Mobile-first

Built for the phone in the group chat.

Most plans for a night in Old Town get made on a phone. A VIP bar with Call Now and Text Now buttons stays at the bottom of every page, and the text button opens a message to the VIP host that's already written. The event calendar scrolls sideways, with a Book Now button on every night.

Private events

Birthdays, buyouts and company parties of twenty or more.

Private events get their own page and their own form. Planners enter the head count, date and time, and the team follows up with availability and packages. The page covers birthday celebrations, after parties and corporate mixers, and explains partial and full venue buyouts.

Dinner is part of the night too. Dining reservations run through OpenTable, next to the Mexican-inspired kitchen menu and happy hour, with a link to the private events form for groups of 20 or more.

Bachelor and bachelorette

A page for Scottsdale's biggest party weekends.

Scottsdale is a bachelorette town, so El Hefe has a page just for those groups. It walks through the plan in three steps, choose a package, reserve the date and show up, with a booking form on the same page.

The FAQ answers what groups ask before they book: the 21 and over policy, the dress code, cover charges on holiday weekends and how to get discounts through the Riot Rewards list.
